Another Busy Week at Costa Systems
As another week comes to a close, we’d like to thank all of our customers who got in touch with our support team throughout the week.

Next week our installation team will be on-site completing a 4-till EPOS installation for a fashion retailer, helping prepare their business for smoother operations and a better customer experience.

Industry Update
The retail and hospitality sectors continue to focus on efficiency as businesses look for ways to reduce unnecessary administration and maximise staff productivity.
With operating costs remaining a key challenge, many businesses are investing in technology that reduces manual processes, improves reporting, and gives owners greater visibility over their business from anywhere. The demand for cloud-based EPOS systems and integrated payment solutions continues to grow as operators look to save time rather than simply replace hardware.
VAT Reminder
A reminder for businesses in the hospitality sector that the VAT rate for food-led hospitality is changing from 13.5% to 9% from 1 July 2026. Businesses should ensure their EPOS systems are updated with the correct tax rates before trading under the new rate.
If you’re unsure whether your system has been updated, contact your EPOS supplier as soon as possible.
