
We are delighted at Costa Systems to congratulate our clients Gourmet Food Parlour, the successful restaurant & catering group, who are celebrating their 10th year in business this month.
Established by Lorraine Heskin and Lorraine Byrne, the first Gourmet Food Parlour premises opened in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin in July 2006.
NEW STORE EXPANSION
Due to ongoing growth success, Gourmet Food Parlour will create 15 new jobs in Swords with an investment of € ½ million in store expansion, due for completion this coming August.
Lorraine Heskin, MD Gourmet Food Parlour explained how the new investment will revitalise the Swords premises;
“Moving next door into a new expanded space will see the premises completely overhauled with 40 additional seats, a larger kitchen space, a fully licensed bar space, new menu items and a private dining room. Due for completion in August, this expansion will boost not only our space capacity but also our offering to the Swords area. We will be welcoming 15 new staff to the Gourmet Food Parlour team to operate the new premises. After 10 years in business, we are so excited to share this news with our loyal customers who have supported us over the years.”
ON TO THE NEXT 10 YEARS
Looking ahead, Lorraine Heskin said she anticipates the business can continue to grow steadily over the next 10 years;
“With a newly revamped premises on the horizon, a logo re-brand and a new website, we are alive and kicking more than ever this year. We hope to continue to grow and build on an exciting future for the Gourmet Food Parlour team into the next 10 years.”
Gourmet Food Parlour own branches in Swords, Malahide and Dun Laoghaire, and run successful kitchen partnerships with House on Leeson St, and 37 Dawson St. Their hugely successful catering division works with several large corporations, providing catering to industry giants such as AIG, Google, Universal, Alltech & Special Olympics to name but a few.
“As the official nutritional partners of the Dublin GAA County Board & Leinster Rugby, we consistently cater for each player’s individual dietary needs, enabling them to perform at their optimum level throughout the season.
