May has been a busy and productive month for the team. One of our main focuses has been upgrading fashion retail websites to Version 3 of our software platform.
The new V3 upgrade introduces several major improvements, including the move to a dedicated cloud environment which removes the need for traditional on-site servers. This will ultimately reduce long-term infrastructure costs for customers while also improving reliability, performance, and scalability.
We also successfully rolled out CostaPay across multiple sites, delivering a smooth launch and helping customers streamline payment processing and improve operational efficiency.
As always, we’re continuing to work closely with our clients to ensure they’re getting the very best from their systems while preparing them for future growth.

⚙️ Whats the craic in the industry!
One of the biggest developments in the Irish hospitality industry this month is the long-awaited VAT reduction for food services.
The Irish Government has officially confirmed that the VAT rate for food-related hospitality services — including hotels, restaurants, cafés, and bars serving food — will reduce from 13.5% to 9%.
This change has been heavily discussed across the industry for quite some time, with many hospitality businesses calling for support as operating costs continue to rise. The reduced VAT rate is expected to provide some welcome relief to operators throughout the sector and should help businesses reinvest in staffing, service, and customer experience.
It’s a positive step for hospitality businesses across Ireland and one that many in the industry will be happy to finally see implemented.
