Adam Kaczmarek has been appointed as the new head chef at Gourmet Food Parlour (GFP) Skerries.
Adam has over 20 years’ of culinary experience, and joins new general manager Robert Cassidy in the busy Irish owned business.
The team at Skerries has developed a new evening menu using locally sourced ingredients with a modern twist. Appetisers include a trio of mini sliders (the first with Irish beef, Dubliner cheddar and chipotle aioli; the second with pulled pork and apple chutney; and the third with Cajun chicken, roasted red pepper and red onion).
Popular dishes on the menu at Skerries include the sesame salmon fillet, served on a bed of maple and lemon infused lentils alongside crispy kale. The pastry team has added new desserts including a Nutella cheesecake – a rich chocolate infused cheesecake topped with locally sourced raspberries.
Gourmet Food Parlour Skerries also offers breakfast, lunch and brunch menus, seven days a week. The garden space in GFP Skerries was also recently renovated in time for the summer season.
Head chef, Adam Kaczmarek, said: “We have created a really special menu for the growing foodie community in Skerries, making these dishes with our valued customers in mind. We use the highest quality, local produce to offer dishes that are good value, tasty and nutritious. Our daily chef specials showcase the creativity of our team, which the customers love.”
Gourmet Food Parlour CEO and owner, Lorraine Heskin, said: “Keeping the customers’ needs at the forefront of everything we do, including our menus, has been a key part of our success as a restaurant group. We have worked hard to ensure the team in Skerries is bringing something valuable and different to local foodies and families alike.”
Being the backbone for Gourmet Food Parlour over the past few years, when it comes to ePOS with installation and support, both remote and on site. Costa Systema would like to wish Adam all the best in his new role as Cead Chef, and certainly wish him every success in the future.
